We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear sisters 🌸 I hope you are all feeling better and better, InshaAllah.

Yesterday I was asked again, “Should I do it or not? Do I need it?”
Often people ask me,
“What should I do?”
“What decision should I make?”

For Muslims, we have the beautiful tool of Istikhara, we pray, reflect, consult, and trust that Allah (SWT) guides what is best for us. That trust and surrender brings us comfort and eases nervousness.

But we all people also have another tool - our bodies.
The body often reacts before the mind explains.
When you think about a decision, notice what happens inside you. Is there tension or ease? Expansion or contraction? Calmness or resistance?
*Clarity does not come from overthinking, it comes from awareness.*❣️
When something aligns, the body often softens and the breath deepens. When something feels wrong, body tightness or feels like subtle stress.
So the body’s dialogue is simple: Yes or No. Not in words, but in sensation.

However, fear can also create tension, so before deciding, calm your nervous system. How do we know if it’s fear? Fear feels urgent and rushed, while true clarity feels steady and grounded, even if the decision is difficult.

Today, take a moment for conscious reflection. Ask yourself what is truly bothering you, close your eyes, turn inward, and simply observe your body sensations without analysing them. Clarity begins the moment we allow ourselves to truly feel.

Have a peaceful and blessed weekend. 🤍
