We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️
Salam Alaikum dear Brothers and Sisters, I hope you are doing well.
Today’s reminder is about:
💰 A Spiritual Perspective on Wealth
How can we practically solve the feeling of lack in the household?
When a couple understands that they are together responsible for running the home, each respecting their natural roles, they already feel richer.
✨ Simple tip: whenever you feel poor or lacking, both husband and wife can start cleaning and reorganising the home in detail. Often, the feeling of “not enough” is connected to stagnation. Tidying the space together refreshes the energy, opens room for new blessings, and reminds you of how much you already have. Just be mindful that this doesn’t turn into an argument about “who brought all this stuff.” In reality, both spouses contribute: one wishes/ attracts , the other buys/ brings ect. and at the end it belongs to both. Even when it seems like a personal habit, remember: you are sharing one life and one home together. 🌸
Wealth is not only about money or possessions -it is also about barakah (blessing).
A wife who feels secure, dreams, and values her husband’s efforts brings light, dua, and positive energy into the home, and this opens doors to even more provision. On the other hand, arrogance, lack of respect, or belittling the husband’s hard work close those doors and reduce wealth.
“*Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means.”*
(Qur’an 4:34)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“*It is sufficient sin for a man to neglect those he is responsible for.”*
(Sunan Abi Dawud 1692, Sahih)
🌿 Dear Brothers, remember: once you marry, you are two - walking in harmony together in life. Even if both husband and wife work, the financial responsibility always rests on the man. He is the provider and leader of the household, while the woman carries a softer, nurturing energy. She is not created to carry the stress of finances or provision. Her role is to bring peace, beauty, and balance into the home.
And wife may choose to work for her own growth, but not because she is required to carry the financial burden. Rather, she should enjoy her work as a blessing or hobby, while the husband remains the main provider.
💬 Reflection Questions for Couples

2️⃣ How can we support each other emotionally during financial stress, and how does gratitude from both of us invite barakah into our wealth?
3️⃣ In what ways can a wife’s respect and dua strengthen her husband’s ability to provide, and how can a husband’s care and generosity make his wife feel secure?
4️⃣ What habits might harm our financial peace (overspending, criticism, lack of communication), and what healthier habits can we replace them with?
5️⃣ If the husband works hard to provide, how can the wife help him with small acts that carry big blessings? And how can the husband ensure his wife feels relaxed and secure?
💰*True wealth is not measured only in money, but in love, respect, and barakah*. A husband who provides sincerely, and a wife who supports with gratitude and dua, create a home where wealth feels abundant and hearts feel rich.
Wishing all of your homes to be filled with love, peace, and endless barakah.🤲🏻
