Salam Alaikum, dear Sisters.🌸
I hope you are all feeling well today. It’s Friday again and the perfect day for relaxing message.
Today, I’d like to share a simple method for those moments when you’re unsure about a decision. In my consultations, I’m often asked, “Should I do it or not?”
This method is called the “Yes/No” Scan.
It’s not a guaranteed way to tell right from wrong in an absolute sense but it helps you sense what feels most aligned with your inner values, comfort, and intuition in the moment.
Your body and subconscious mind often notice subtle clues before your conscious mind does. Saying “yes” or “no” triggers a quick emotional and physical reaction , like a tiny “truth detector.”
☀️ Calm, open, relaxed feelings often signal alignment.
⚡️ Tightness, heaviness, or anxiety signal misalignment.
⚠️ Note it’s best for personal choices where emotional fit matters, like accepting an invitation, starting a new hobby, or speaking up in a meeting.
For bigger, more complex decisions, combine intuition with logic, facts, and reflection.
This is a simple set of steps you can follow to use this method, and I hope it will help you make decisions with more ease and confidence:
*Step 1. Emotional Scan
Sit quietly, think of your choice, and softly say “yes” out loud. Notice how your body feels, do you sense calm, lightness, or expansion?
Then say “no” and feel the difference.
Often, one answer will feel more at ease and open -that’s your heart and body guiding you. 💖
Step 2. Rational Check (Logic). I personally recommend to write it down and don’t overthink.
1. Evidences: What facts support or warn against this choice?
2. Consequences: What could happen short-term and long-term?
3. Values: Does it match my personal or spiritual principles?
4. Alternatives: Are there other options I haven’t considered?
Step 3. Alignment
If intuition and logic point in the same direction, move forward with confidence.
If they disagree - pause and gather more information before acting.
Because forcing/ placing yourself into situations you don’t truly want or doing things you dislike just to please others lead to more than anxiety and stress. Over time, it cause psychosomatic symptoms, where emotional strain shows up as physical discomfort or illness.
We, as women, are especially blessed with a strong intuition and a deep sense of what feels right for us. Honoring that inner voice is not selfish, it’s essential for our emotional balance, health, and long-term well-being.
And remember, sisters, your main purpose is TO BE and to live in alignment with your femininity. 🌸
Trust and believe that Allah SWT has placed everything you need within you. *You only need to discover it and live in alignment with it.*💖
Have a blessed Friday and may your all duas become true. 🤲🏻
