Salam Alaikum sisters, 🌸 how are you feeling today?

Today, I wanted to share about the COMMENTS you might make to others.

I’m preparing for Sunday’s class on communication and would like to remind you of a rule that will be helpful for everyone InshaAllah.

Do you know the 30-second rule?

When you give someone comment or noticed something about that person, that person should be able to make the change within 30 seconds.
If the person cannot change that thing within 30 seconds, it’s neither helpful, polite, nor useful to tell them.

You can say, “Your shoelace is untied,” “You have something on your cheek,” or you could pull them aside and say, “You have food stuck between your teeth.”
But if they can’t change it within 30 seconds, whether it’s their voice, body shape, hair color, their mindset…ect
There’s no need to share such comments if the person can’t change it within 30 seconds.

Respect yourself and others. Before speaking, take a pause, think 1, 2, 3 times. Only then decide to speak if it will truly be useful for that person.

This is because, as women, we tend to feel first, then pour our emotions onto others, and only afterward think about what we said. And often, we regret it and apologise. Never rush to throw words around, especially moments of anger.

Be queens, have self-respect, and don’t become nagging, rude women.

I wish you mindfulness when communicating with others: children, husband, friends, relatives, colleagues and all other people.

Have a beautiful and mindful relationships.🌸❤️
