Today about PHRASES OR WORDS.
Words having power.
As I told yesterday, whatever you are saying to your children, whatever they hearing, seeing, experiencing everything settling in their subconscious. Children are highly influenced by the language used around them, and negative or degrading phrases can have significant and lasting impacts on their self-esteem and well-being.
That’s why we adults having automatic responses to situations, believes about ourselves, others and world, inner perceptions formatted in early childhood.
The child does not revealing, but sometimes parent's, teacher’s and other adults phrases are stuck in his memory for the rest of his life and mean a lot to the child.
How often did you hear in your childhood:
“ She is so slow, that she will be struggling in life.”
“ Nothing good will ever grow from this child.”
“ You never do anything right, what a mother you’ll be.”
I’m encouraging you to notice consciously what words and phrases you are using when you are talking about your children ( and in front of your children) and as well what phrases stuck in your mind from your childhood.
