Salam Alaikum sisters. How are you today?🌸

Today about FLOWERS AND TEACHERS

My first TEACHER was old men but a wonderful person. The children adored him and I loved him. I remember THAT 1st of September, when I carried 1 rose because my mother couldn't afford to buy any more ( it’s a tradition in my country to give flowers to teachers on the first of September). I felt upset, embarrassed and shy that we didn’t have more money to buy nice flowers for my teacher whom I loved. When I was walking through the school door, another child suddenly pushed the door hard and the door cut off my lovely rose. I was in tears, but I still gave that rose to the teacher. Yes, stem separately, flower separately. He didn’t laugh, didn’t throw it to the bin, didn’t said stop cry. The teacher said calmly : "very beautiful flower, no problem, let's take a small lid and put in it." He didn’t rush to start the lesson, found a lid, poured water from the tap and put that flower on the table next to him and didn’t throw it away after the lesson. His calm voice and his action calmed me down and stuck deep in my memory. Many years passed away, but the 1 st of September always associating with my first TEACHER. Children really feel and love those teachers who are sincere and love children❤️
We all are teachers for all kids.
If we all slow down and really allow ourselves to see the childrens eyes and their depth. We will see their love and wisdom, we will see that they want only our connection so much, they cherish us so much and really want to be together. And if we really see it, we naturally slow down to connect with them, to what is really important for them here and now.🦋✨

This is what I wish the most for everyone at the end of the summer and the beginning of the new year of school/nursery/routine - to remember to slow down, focus, really see your children, respect them (don't lie, don't manipulate, don't threaten, don't be violent, understand their development, communicate respectfully, listen) and when in doubt... Always choose connection❤️

Wishing everyone a nice start of new academic year!
May this school year be a time of personal growth and self-discovery. Enjoy learning beneficial new things.
