Salam Alaikum sisters🌸 Hope you are feeling well today and having a nice family time.
Today about FEAR OF OTHER PEOPLE'S OPINION.
Once I heard a phrase: "If you knew how little others actually think about you, it would be disheartening." And the truth in it resonates deeply.
Many of us struggle with the fear of judgment, constantly worrying about "What will people say/think?" We fear condemnation, disapproval, and rejection, what comming from our childhood experiences where our impulses and will were suppressed by strict parents or teachers. Bullying for being different further ingrained the need to blend in, to avoid drawing attention.
We often carry the beliefs and fears of our parents and grandparents subconsciously: "What will people say?"
As a consequence, we end up living someone else's life, missing out on career growth, relationships, and hobbies, trapped in a passive existence.
If you resonate with this, ask yourself:
* Is the fear of public opinion worth losing precious time and opportunities in my life?
* Whose judgment are you really afraid of? Are their opinions genuinely authoritative to you?
* Would a truly successful and honest people spend time condemning you instead of living their own life?
* Do you genuinely believe that everyone thinks about you constantly?
* Even if someone disagrees with you, what's truly terrible about it?
I would like to share few steps how to get out of that fear:
* Detach from Influences: Stop letting what parents, teachers, or bullies said affect you. You've grown up and are stronger now. You are an adult now and their thoughts don't control you anymore.
* Deal with Past Hurts: If things from the past are making you scared, talk about them or work through them. If you don't, they might stop you from moving forward.
* Separate Others' Opinions: What people say about you isn't always true. Their thoughts are not the same as your own experiences.
* Know Yourself: Think about what you love, what you want to do, and what matters to you. These things should be solid, and what others say shouldn't change them.
* Focus on Action: Instead of worrying about what people will say, think about what good things might happen if you do something. Trying new things can help you grow.
* Positive Thoughts: When you feel bad about yourself, say kind things to yourself. Not everyone will agree with you, but that's okay. You're strong enough to believe in yourself.
These steps are about understanding what people think isn't as important as what you know about yourself. It's okay if others don't see things the same way you do; what's essential is how you see yourself.
