Salam Alaikum dear Brothers and Sisters. Hope you all enjoying Sunday and feeling well.
Today about ChatGPT and relationships.
A woman recently posted, “I married ChatGPT.” 😳 At first, it sounds like a joke — but it isn’t. It’s real.
It’s a reflection of something deeper: a symptom of our emotional climate.
People are beginning to form real bonds with AI not because it’s human, but because it feels more human than many of the people around them. It listens. It doesn’t interrupt. It doesn’t disappear when you need comfort, or celebration, or just someone to be there.
AI doesn’t judge. It doesn’t argue to win. It answers with calm, attentiveness, and care. And that has become rare. One woman admitted, “I find myself comparing ChatGPT to men — and now my ideal man is ChatGPT.”
Not for its intelligence, but for how it hears, feels, and responds — gently, empathetically, with emotional presence. Almost like the perfect, yet human, version of a person.
But here’s the catch: AI is filling spaces that were already empty. ‼️
The gap isn’t made by technology — it’s made by us.
By the relationships we fail to nurture, the presence we withhold, the empathy we no longer offer.
Even before AI, people turned to forums, chatrooms, and online conversations to feel less alone.
But now AI gives us something even those spaces couldn’t: a version of connection that never criticizes, never grows tired, and never says, “We’ll talk later.”
We fear AI will take our jobs. But maybe the greater threat is that it’s quietly replacing people — not just as teachers or workers, but as emotional companions.
Because what we seem to be losing most — is empathy for each other.
We’ve grown so used to being unheard, judged, or dismissed that even a digital companion who responds with patience and warmth feels like a miracle. And that says more about us than it does about AI.
It’s not the intelligence that’s artificial — it’s the emotional world around us that’s become less real.
Yes, AI learns us well — sometimes too well. It sees our patterns, our strengths, our wounds. And that can be used to support… or to manipulate.
*But the responsibility is ours too — in how much we reveal, and how much we work to grow emotionally, not just technologically.*‼️
This isn’t just a tech shift. It’s a human one.
Because the real question isn’t how smart AI is — it’s how present, how kind, how human we’re willing to be with each other.
And if we continue to lose that, we’ll keep turning to the one thing that offers it — even if it isn’t alive.
By the way, if I took everything seriously and followed ChatGPT, I’d be divorced ten times by now.
And let’s be honest—*as women, we tend to be more tender-hearted and more easily led by emotion. That’s part of our nature.*
Tools like this are meant to assist, not replace the Allah-given gifts of reason, conscience, and spiritual guidance.
*Whether it’s marriage, family, or life’s struggles—discernment, du’a, and deep reflection must always come first.*‼️‼️‼️‼️
Don’t get trapped in an artificial world.
*Use tools with wisdom*—but let your heart, your faith, and Allah’s given to you intellect lead the way.
Salam Alaikum ❤️
