Thyroid chronic conditions are related to prolonged stress in life, especially when a person continues to feel pressure and wants to grab a lot from life. A sudden calamity can also cause thyroid issues. If you can approximately remember what happened or what was going on 20 years back.

Many people, as children, heard phrases like “You’re lazy” when they were simply resting or bored. They were told, “If you don’t study, you won’t achieve anything, you will be useless, you won’t succeed…” Most of us have been “trained” to be something, otherwise, the feeling of being nothing makes us feel insecure and we afraid of being worthless. Many of us saw how hard our moms worked and took that to mean you “need to” or “must” put effort and it should be hard. Many of us still competing with others subconsciously or even consciously : “ I’ll prove I’m better or can achieve it as well”.

Many feel good when they are doing something and get upset or angry if people do not notice or value their efforts. Even simple “rest” as you said demotivated you, “this negative energy ruins my motivation.”

So, if your motivation can be easily ruined by everyone who offers you rest, it’s a good point to start analysing your inside first and find your own strength.
It is known that anxiety and stress levels are associated with thyroid hormone levels.

I’m planning to write more about chronic diseases and how we can help ourselves.Inshallah
