This practice really helps but also it’s very important your intention.
I was the one who was rushing, multitasking ect. in everyday life. So I very well know what does it mean.
Previously, I even included phrases in my CV like “Perform effectively in high-pressure environments and efficiently manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.”
But, as I’ve grown wiser and more self-aware, I’ve realised how misleading and misaligned such statements were with who I truly am, what I enjoy, and what I can realistically handle.
Many people add phrases like “work well under pressure” and “multitask efficiently” to their CVs without considering whether they genuinely align with their strengths and well-being.
I no longer feel the need to prove that I can thrive under pressure or juggle endless tasks at the expense of my well-being. Instead, I choose to work at my own pace, in a way that aligns with my true self.
I value quality over urgency, presence over rushing, and balance over burnout. My focus is on meaningful progress, not exhausting productivity.
And those who don’t want to work or hire me it’s ok.
From now on, I give myself permission to move in my own pace, feel my energy levels, and respect my personal rhythm.
I even told my family that I’ll be moving and doing everything at my own pace—like a snail 🐌.
And believe me, the world didn’t reject me or collapsed—it adapted to me. 😃Alhamdulillah ❤️
I used to feel irritated by people who moved slowly, responded late, or made me wait. But now, I accept these moments as my time, whether it’s being stuck in traffic or waiting for a reply.
Real emergencies actually are very, very rare, everything else is just how we choose to respond.
So, I wish you all the strength to return to own pace, to move in a way that feels natural, and to embrace life without the pressure of rushing.
And when your kids invite you to see something or your husband asks you to sit together, accept the moment. Be present.
Let them be upset or blame you for not doing something on time—that’s their reaction, not your responsibility. You choose yourself, and believe me, they will adapt. And you will win.❤️
