Salam Alaikum dear sisters. 🌸Hope you are all feeling well today.
The group is quiet, and I’m a bit slow, allowing myself to go with a flow.
Thank you sister for posting and warm welcome new sisters to the group.❤️
Today’s message is about MEDICATIONS for soul conditions.
Medicine can be very important. In serious illnesses like epilepsy, schizophrenia, or mania, treatment is life-saving and cannot be ignored. But even in these cases, we should still look at the whole person holistically, because healing is never only about the symptoms, it’s also about the soul, heart, and mind.
Psychotropic medicine may remove symptoms, but it cannot heal the deeper cause of spiritual suffering. Pills can quiet the pain for a time, but they do not remove the roots of sadness, trauma, or inner battles. And often, they bring side effects as well.
I always say: pills will not heal childhood traumas or relationship problems with a husband and it would be naive to believe in that.
That is why I believe in a holistic approach:
🌿 Body -eating, resting, and sleeping well, and gently restoring whatever has been depleted.
🌿 Soul - duʿāʾ, Qur’an, dhikr, and trust in Allah SWT.
🌿 Heart - allowing emotions to be felt and expressed.
🌿 Mind - therapy, reflection, and working through past wounds.
🌿 Environment - building safe, supportive surroundings.
Therapy is not a quick fix. It is a safe space to slowly release what has been held inside for many years.
Remember:
🌸 Not medicine, but words can heal.
🌸 Not silence, but being heard brings freedom.
🌸 Not running, but facing yourself brings change.
🌸 Not despair, but small steps bring strength.
So, dear sisters, healing is possible, and you are never alone. 🌸
The solution is not to masquerade symptoms with tablets, but first to use all the other paths Allah SWT has given us - improvement in lifestyle, strengthening your health, practicing self-care, valuing and loving yourself, therapy and above all, connecting deeply with Allah SWT , the Ultimate Healer. 💕
There are moments when we lose hope, when we feel desperate for help, and when the solution seems impossible to find. But I always remember these wise words from famous book: “It never happened that it somehow did not happen.”
If you are feeling stuck right now, remind yourself that every single time before- you somehow overcame. You carried yourself through pain, through hardship, through struggle. And if you did it before, with Allah’s SWT help, you will overcome this time too.
Do small steps, make duʿāʾ, and trust in Allah’s timing. Relief always comes. 💕
✨ “Verily, with hardship comes ease.” (Qur’an 94:6)
✨ Wishing everyone strong īmān, good health, and the blessing of heartfelt dua. 🤲🏻❤️☀️
P.S. And as much as possible spend outside, the best in nature. Science shows that just 20 minutes in nature can lower stress, improve mood, and calm the body. Walking in green spaces reduces anxiety, helps sleep, boosts immunity, and refreshes the mind.
The best “medicine” is simply fresh air, trees, and remembering Allah’s creation. And most important - without side effects. 🌸
