Salam Alaikum sisters, hope you are enjoying Friday. 🌸

MOVEMENT IS LIFE!

Do you allow your children to explore the world?

Do you spend at least 2 hours per day with your children in nature or playground?

Was you allowed in your childhood to explore the world?

Human being is not made to sit closed at home and live in the “concrete blocks homes“. In the past, people had much more nature, and with it the freedom to simply BE. We all belong to nature. And I believe because of lack of time spending outside we all are stressed, getting sick quicker and not having energy.
Fresh air, Sun, water, nature colours, smells, texture of plants, ground , stones, sticks… everything stimulating us naturally and in a positive way.
I can see from my own practice that children ( and adults) who are spending a lot of time sitting at home, mentally and psychically are weak, more irritable and overstimulated.

When children, especially small are not allowed and are restricted from so many things at home and outside they cannot express themselves, grow, get stronger physically and emotionally. MOVEMENT IS LIFE! Children must be active and explore environment.
Usually parents afraid of mess at home, not allowing kids to play with a mud outside. It’s seems like for us adults are much more easier to say “No” immediately , when allow children to explore, or even to think about other possibilities.
Remember, through all our 5 senses we stimulating brains.
So if your child opened a cupboard and “explored“ flour, and continuously “testing” your locked cupboards it’s his need, not want. It’s natural development.
And I’m encouraging you to ask yourself 2 questions:
1. How can I respond to child’s needs/desires to explore the world that it works for me as well?
3. Is this would be a problem in nature?

P.S. What emotions and feelings do you have by looking at the pictures below?

And ask yourself:

Why am I reacting like this?
Why do I make such decisions?
Are these my thoughts, feelings?
What do I know and how do I know it?
Why did I decide that?

By turning to ourselves we can change our perspective, priorities, heal, help ourselves
and the most important help our children to grow exploring the world.
