Today about how our words are important.

WORDS ARE IMPORTANT🗣️

Sadly but first bullies in children lifes are adults: parents and other people (grandparents, teachers, uncles, aunts ect).
who are raising and educating children.

We adults are so quick to assign certain words/labels to children and their behavior:

Stupid
Lazy
Slugish
Naughty
Goat
Coward
Bad
Crying baby
Monkey

When we put such labels (even we use "positive" labels) on a child, we no longer see him/ her and see basically ONLY the label/word and what it associates with us.

If we see that a child became an aggressive, or his behaviour changed first think: Why my child is fighting more, why misbehaving, became slow? What could have happened? What is he/ she communicating? What is difficult for him/her?

Our replies, tone, and decisions will be completely different when we really see the child and what he is communicating.

Very often the answers are simple: lack of quality time, lack of love and connection, needs not fulfilled and most important - lack of time outside! Children need at least 3-4 HOURS of time outside (preferably in nature). Also review your communication, the child's autonomy and what respect you showed for him/her.

And some children naturally and by their development are slowly thinkers, some are very active and so on.

Usually children hearing “he is naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty….or bad, bad, bad, bad” and itself it’s becoming a part of personality. Why I should put effort to be good if I’m bad? Bad attention from parents is an attention anyway.
Remember, children, especially little, everything taking as a truth and personally about themselves.
And carrying all their lifes.
It’s affecting self confidence and self esteem.

That our words won’t become children voice in their heads we should be conscious what we saying.
Because what we “planting” in little heads it’s growing.

How often do you label your child or his behavior? What labels do you use? Do you feel how your perspective and others people attitude changing towards your child if you put a label?
