Salam Alaikum dear Sisters,🌸
I hope you are all feeling well today.

I have shared something similar before, but as human beings we share one common trait we forget.
So today about “HELPERS”.

It’s worth reminding ourselves: if a person is not asking for help, don’t rush to give it.
Sometimes what looks like suffering to us is, for them, an important part of their own journey, a chapter they need to live through before they are ready to step into change.
Not every person’s pain is a call to rescue them.
Sometimes, it is a quiet, hidden choice, a determination to live through an experience to its very end.

We meet people who say: “I’m afraid I will drown, please pull me out…” -from a toxic relationship, an addiction, a season of passivity, or a heavy inner storm. And our instinct is to rush forward, to offer a hand, to lift them out of the waves.
But the real heartbreak is not when they are sinking… it is when, the moment they reach the shore, they turn back, walking willingly into the same waters, towards the same fierce 🌊 that almost claimed them before.

And then we must ask: do they truly wish to be saved?
Or has the sea become something else to them- a ritual they cannot abandon, a shadow they are not ready to face, a grief they cannot release, a longing they are not yet ready to let go of?
In my daily work, I see many exhausted women who have taken others onto their shoulders, trying to save them , often at the cost of themselves.

Dear sisters, protect your soul and your vital energy. If you are wise, invest your energy in saving people for a living: become a nurse, a carer, a paramedic..,But don’t drain yourself trying to save those who do not want to be saved.
Many women, with their generous and pure hearts, try to take their husbands, mothers, sisters, adult sons and daughters as a life project -hoping to “fix” them, heal their pain, teach them and carry them toward a better life. But no matter how much love we give, real change cannot happen until the other person chooses it for themselves.
We can walk beside someone, but we cannot live their life for them. We cannot plant within them the will to change, to grow in spirit, to take ownership of their own mind and actions - until they are ready to take the first step themselves.

Trying to save someone before they have renounced their inner chaos is like stealing from them the very ground they may one day push off from. It takes away the growth they have yet to claim, the responsibility they have yet to own. And sometimes, the kindest thing is to allow them to remain where they are, if that is their choice.
*Wisdom is knowing the difference between help that is a true gift… and help that is simply control wrapped in care, or our own need to be the rescuer.*‼️

Sometimes real help is not the hand that pulls them out again and again…
It is the quiet presence that says:
“I believe in your strength. I see you. And when you are ready to return to the shore, I will be here.”

Perhaps only then will they turn inward, meet the waves within, and choose the solid ground of the shore, not because we saved them, but because they saved themselves.
*This is not about turning away from those who ask for help.*‼️
It is about not forcing help upon those who are not yet ready to receive it.
Instead:

✅Look after yourself. Protect your own peace.
✅Redirect your energy to your own growth, health, and connection with Allah SWT.
✅Offer help only when it is asked for and when the other person is willing to take responsibility for their change.
✅Set clear boundaries, you are not abandoning them; you are giving them the space to rise on their own.
✅ Remember: your role is to guide and support, not to carry another adult’s entire life on your back.
