Salam Alaikum dear brothers and sisters,
I hope you’re all doing well and that you had a joyful, peaceful Eid with your loved ones.

Have you noticed that some people have left the group recently?
May Allah SWT guide and protect them, wherever they are.

But it makes us think, doesn’t it?
How do you feel when someone leaves you?
Not just in a group—but in life.
What about your spouse?

Do you ever feel afraid that one day he/she might leave you—emotionally, physically, or even through something beyond our control, like death?

While we are all social beings, naturally attached to the people we love, this connection can also bring fear, anxiety, or insecurity—especially when we don’t feel safe emotionally.

These feelings are very real, and they often connect to something deeper inside us: our attachment styles.

There are 4 attachment styles and it can be a mix of them:

Secure – You feel safe in love. You trust your spouse and yourself.
Anxious – You constantly worry about being left, unloved, or not good enough.
Avoidant – You fear depending on others, so you keep a distance emotionally.
Fearful/Ambivalent – You crave closeness, but you’re terrified of being hurt.

‘’Mixed” or “fluid” attachment style is very common, especially if someone had:
💔Inconsistent caregiving in childhood
💔Past trauma or betrayal
💔A mix of secure and insecure relationships in life

Very often, an unhealthy attachment style is at the root of many relationship conflicts, even if we don’t realise it.

*Your attachment style is not your fault*—it’s shaped by your childhood experiences.

But it is your responsibility to heal it, especially if it’s causing problems in your relationships.

Because if you don’t, the one who suffers the most… is you.

That fear, insecurity, or emotional distance can silently damage the love between you and your spouse.

But here’s the good news: healing is possible.
With awareness, reflection, prayer, and support, you can develop a secure heart—one that trusts, connects, and feels peace.
Those who feel this resonates—you’re welcome to message me privately or seek help elsewhere. The important thing is: don’t stay stuck.

May Allah help us all build strong emotional foundations, full of love, mercy, and understanding. Ameen.🤲🏻❤️
