Salam Alaikum sisters🌸 Hope you all doing well.
Everyone will celebrate
Mother’s day in my country tomorrow.
I would like to share thoughts about mothers of 2 of my colleagues who were my teachers as well.
“Mother is the gate through which we entered this world. This is the soul we made an agreement with before coming to this Earth to help us to go through and move on this Earth. What huge love she had to make this decision and allow a new soul to go through her body? 🌸
And yet, it's just a woman who, like all women, wants to be loved, to receive warmth and attention. 💗
Allow yourself to ask your mother for forgiveness if you ever demanded her too much, expected too much and judged her for her choices. See her as a woman who was simply looking for happiness. Let's take the label off her and allow ourselves truly love mothers unconditionally, above all they are human beings. Then feel grateful for the opportunity to use her body to become who you are today. And be grateful for how much she gave, according to her capabilities at that time.”

“I’m a gifted man, I often witness the beginning of motherhood. When you think, how many have I’ve seen in those 30 years!?
I've seen thousands crying tears of joy who have just become moms. Thousands of men. Some were shedding tears silently, others were crying loud. They all cried like a baby.
I saw a woman holding a newborn baby after 20 years of unsuccessful attempts to get pregnant.
I saw a woman cuddling a newborn baby after burying two children before.
I saw a woman holding a newborn baby, 10 years ago with a little breaks been pregnant, but unsuccessfully.
I saw how a woman falls into a coma one hour after giving birth. She underwent 7 surgeries during that time. Going into a coma for her 19th birthday. And when no one expects her to survive - she starts to heal. And sees her daughter.
I have seen way too many cases in mylife.
I've also seen when a father takes his baby in a newborn baby chair and then two of them go home. Because mom died giving birth a month ago.
I saw a colleague giving CPR to the pregnant woman who’s heart stopped during the delivery. And when I met his eyes - he shook his head.
I have seen such rivers of blood that a colleague who has 30 years of experience froze within seconds of the view.
But I also saw a 16-year-old girl giving birth to her second child and the second one leaving for adoption.
But I saw a woman giving birth with her head turned on one side and saying - just don't show me the child - I won't take it.
I could write about this every day. The amount of things I have seen.
And that's why I know the cost of motherhood. Because I have seen it myself. I may have seen too much. Sometimes, sitting in a pool of blood - I think…
Guys you should see the 1% of what I have seen. And you would understand what a gift life is. What some moms had to sacrifice to see the sun and you…
Please love your mothers. Especially if they are still alive. And don't mean a butt slap or a harsher word what they did or said to you 40 years ago. Many of our mothers did not finish positive parenting courses or Montessori schools. They were trying on their own, their best. They loved, how they learned to love or how they could to love you.
Happy Mother's Day to all lovely Mother's. And those who wanted and strived to be Moms, but the fate did not allow. Hugs to all the Moms I know.
At the end - an Arab saying: if you think you have nothing to respect your mother and father for, then think about it again.
Wishing everyone a nice Sunday. 🌸
