We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Salam alaikum dear sisters,
I hope you are all feeling well and at peace today. 🌸

Before our today’s topic, I want to remind something about the speed of this group. Many sisters want faster discussions, more messages, and more knowledge. I understand this desire -we all want to grow and learn.

But I always remind: a woman’s energy is not rushing… it is flowing.
We have been rushed since childhood. Many of us no longer feel our natural pace. Life overwhelms us with tasks and information. This group is not meant for rushing, it is a space for grounding and breathing.

For those who want to learn more quickly, you have other options beside this group:

✨ Sunday classes information will be posted soon, InshAllah.
✨ Private classes and consultations - for sisters who prefer personal guidance.
✨ Queens Retreat -at the end of this month, InshaAllah , in Saudi Arabia, where women from different countries will gather. Our experiences will be shared soon.
✨ And one more surprise is coming by the end of this month, InshaAllah.

Many beautiful things are in progress, and we are not rushing. For your mental and emotional well-being, I encourage you not to rush either. But always welcome to ask questions and have healthy discussions on this group.❤️🌸

Today’s topic is SARCOPENIA.

Sarcopenia is a progressive, age-related loss of skeletal muscle mass, strength, and function. It develops slowly, and many people do not notice it until daily tasks become difficult. It is not only about losing youthful appearance - it is a sign of health decline: hormonal imbalance, poor blood sugar regulation, reduced stamina, and even weakening cognitive abilities.

Short and important points to understand:
• Muscle weakness
• Slower walking
• Poor balance and higher risk of falls
• Low endurance
• Visible muscle loss
• Difficulty with everyday activities like climbing stairs or getting up from a chair

Sarcopenia can start as early as age 30 and becomes more serious around age 50.

The main causes include:
• physical inactivity
• poor nutrition and low high-quality protein
• hormonal changes
• chronic inflammation
• chronic diseases such as diabetes or heart conditions.

To prevent sarcopenia you need to do 2 things:

💪 Exercise -especially strength training (squats, push-ups, weights, resistance bands).
🍗 Good-quality protein - consistently, every day (around 20-40 g per meal).

These are the two only proven methods to prevent or slow down sarcopenia.

Supplements like vitamin D, leucine, or omega-3 may support you, but they help only together with movement and protein.

I myself am working to prevent sarcopenia, and I encourage you, dear sisters, to take it seriously as well, so that in old age you will still be able to clean a spilled cup of tea by yourself or climb to the second floor without difficulty.

Starting to care for your muscles late is like trying to save for retirement one year before retiring - not very wise.
The wise woman starts early. The best time was yesterday, but tomorrow is also good.
The important thing is: start.

May Allah SWT give you strength, clarity, and the gentle flow of feminine energy - not rushing, but growing. And may you strengthen your physical, emotional, and psychological muscles as well.

With love,
Your sister 💗
Maryam
