Salam Alaikum dear sisters🌸, I hope you all are doing well today.
As I said I’ll repeat first 3 days of emotional detox.

Today: 30 Day Emotional Detox plan- DAY 1

Staying offline for 2 hours straight isn’t easy, especially if you’re used to constant connection or use your device as a way to cope or distract. But that’s exactly why it’s powerful.
Disconnect to reconnect with yourself, your thoughts, your senses.
The world won’t fall apart, but you will feel more whole and present.

We once did a challenge with our Queens group: no gadgets for 24 hours. Believe me, many of us felt our minds swirling:
You won’t be able to do it. What if the kids need to contact you? What about school? What if something happens to your parents or your husband?

My advice is simple: tell your husband or another close adult that you’ll be offline for 2 hours and just switch it off.

Even better? Involve your family.
Let your kids know what you’re doing and why. Invite them to turn off their gadgets too, even just for a while. Ask for their support. Make it a shared moment of presence and connection.
This not only strengthens relationships, it sets an example they’ll remember.

Yes, there might be moaning, eye-rolls, and dramatic sighs. Boredom might show up fast.
Don’t rush to fix it. Don’t offer entertainment or distractions.
Tell them: “This is part of it. Being bored is OK. Let’s see what we discover in the quiet.”

It might feel uncomfortable at first, but that’s exactly where something new begin.

And while you’re offline, notice what comes up.
Pay attention to your thoughts and emotions without immediately reaching for a screen.
Restlessness, boredom, anxiety, inspiration, whatever shows up, just notice it. That’s where the growth begins.

I caught myself reaching for my turned-off phone every 10–15 minutes. It’s a habit, wired deep.

So today, make this one choice:
Be unavailable. Be unreachable. Be present.
Just for 2 hours, for yourself, continuously.

And if 2 hours feels easy?
Challenge yourself: go for the whole day.
You might be surprised by how alive it feels to truly unplug.

Wishing everyone to have easy detox day. And please share your emotions, your feelings, your challenges.
Let’s learn from each other and grow together. ❤️
