Also, to those who feel too attached to your husband, and realise you’ve turned your marriage into a “project: husband” -step back and reflect.
You may have taken on the role of saviour, fixer, or constant motivator. You pour endless energy into changing him, healing him, or carrying his responsibilities, but this will drain you emotionally, spiritually, and even physically.
Remember:
✅A husband is a partner, not a lifelong rehabilitation project.
✅Marriage is built on mutual effort -both must grow, not just one.
✅If you are the only one pushing forward, you will eventually run out of strength.
✅You can love and support him, but you cannot live his spiritual, emotional, or personal journey for him.
Redirect some of that love and energy back to yourself, your deen, your passions, your health. When you grow strong and whole, you set the example, and he will either rise with you or remain where he is. But his choice is his own.
And sisters, this is only one part of the picture. There are also certain roles and habits that slowly drain your feminine energy and leave you feeling depleted, even without you realising it.
InshaAllah , I will share more about that next time, so we can all recognise these patterns and protect the softness, peace, and strength Allah SWT has given us.
Wishing everyone the courage and wisdom to know yourself more and more, and more everyday.🌸❤️
