We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear Brothers and Sisters.
I hope you are all doing well and feeling peaceful today, InshaAllah .

A warm welcome as well to all the new members who recently joined our group. I truly hope we will benefit, reflect, and grow together in a way that helps us become stronger individuals and healthier families, InshaAllah.

Today’s reflection is about relationships, emotions, and communication.

Sometimes small situations, words, or behaviours create unexpectedly big emotions within us. And often we ask:
“Why did this affect me so much?”

One important thing to understand is:

✨ Sometimes what touches us deeply may also reflect wounds, fears, or emotions already living inside us.

Sometimes a situation touches:
⚡️an old wound,
⚡️insecurity,
⚡️fear of rejection,
⚡️feeling unseen,
⚡️or past pain.

Psychology teaches us that not every feeling is a fact. And *Islam also teaches us to reflect before reacting.*❣️

For example, if someone says:
“You are a bad person.”

Pause for a moment and ask yourself:

🧐*Is this a fact?*

🤔*Or is this someone’s opinion, anger, frustration, or emotional reaction in that moment?*

A fact is objective truth.❣️
An opinion is influenced by emotions, experiences, wounds, and perspective.❣️

Sometimes people speak from stress, pain, unmet needs or emotional exhaustion and we accidentally carry their words as if they define our identity.

*They do not.*❣️

At the same time, reflection is important too. Sometimes criticism may contain something useful for growth, but it still does not cancel our worth as human beings.

Another important thing is learning the difference between intuition and emotional wounds.

🌱 Intuition usually feels:
calm, clear, and steady.

While emotional wounds often feel: fearful, reactive, anxious, or emotionally overwhelming.

For example:

If someone needs space and you immediately panic:

“They will leave me.”

That may be an old wound speaking.

But if your heart repeatedly feels uneasy around dishonesty, disrespect, or manipulation in a calm and consistent way, that may be intuition guiding you to pay attention.

Today’s a reminder is:

✨ Not every emotion is a fact.
✨ Not every criticism defines you.
✨ Not every reaction from others reflects your worth.
✨ And not every fear is intuition.

Healing begins by pausing, reflecting, and asking:

“What is this situation or person teaching me about myself?”

May Allah SWT grant us emotional wisdom, soft hearts, healthy communication, and peaceful homes filled with understanding and mercy.🤲🏻

Ameen. ❤️
