Salam Alaikum dear sisters. 🌸Hope you are doing well.
Today is Day 29 of emotional detox plan- Believe in Yourself – The Bertha Benz Way
In the late 1800s, Karl Benz invented the first gasoline-powered car. But the world mocked it calling it a “ridiculous tricycle.” Karl sank into despair.
But his wife, Bertha Benz, didn’t wait for permission.
She took the car on a bold 100 km journey no roads, no gas stations, no map.
She bought fuel from pharmacies, fixed mechanical issues with hairpins and hat ties, and even invented brake pads on the way.
When she arrived, she sent Karl a telegram:
“I made it.”
That one act turned everything around. The world saw the car worked. Orders came in. A movement was born. All because one woman believed and moved.
It’s not only true story but it teaches us all to move forward believing in yourself and trusting Allah SWT.
Even from exhaustion or depression, a woman’s energy can rise and move worlds.
We were built to rebuild. 🌸❤️
Your Task Today:
Complete this sentence 5 times:
“If I truly believed in myself, I would…”
Take 10–15 minutes to sit with this. Be honest. Be bold.
Example:
• If I truly believed in myself, I’d stop hiding.
• If I truly believed in myself, I’d say what I really want.
These aren’t just wishes, they’re instructions from your inner wisdom.
Choose one. Make a plan to act on it today, even if it’s just one small step.
Ask your husband or send this to your friend/sibling:
“What’s something you’d do if you fully believed in yourself?
Belief doesn’t come from knowing all the answers it comes from choosing to start.
Even when the road doesn’t exist yet.
*Just like Bertha.*😊
*Just like you.*❤️
Wishing you all a life journey filled with courage, clarity, and belief in yourself.
You are capable of more than you think just start. ❤️
And one more thought today. Bertha didn’t wait for approval, she trusted her inner voice and acted. That’s what emotional detox does:
It clears the fear of “What will people think?” and replaces it with “I know what I’m doing.”
And remember Khadijah (RA) did the same.
She believed in her worth, in her vision, and in the man she chose.
She didn’t wait to be chosen -she proposed.
She didn’t doubt the message - she believed first.
Both women were powerful because they believed in themselves.
